Earthquake shocks were felt in Islamabad and surrounding areas, with a record of 4.5 magnitude recorded on the reactor scale.
The epicenter was reported 16 kilometres southwest of Fateh Jhang, according to the US Geological Survey. No casualties were reported. It may be recalled that a few days ago, strong tremors were felt in Swat which were recorded at 5.1 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was reported below the Hindu Kush mountain range.
