The Election Commission released details of the assets of the members of the Punjab Assembly.
The Election Commission has released the Punjab Assembly’s financial statements. According to which Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar owns more than 84.5 million assets. He holds two luxury cars and four tractors, and 20 tolas of gold but has no business at home or abroad.
Aleem Khan became the owner of assets worth more than Rs 1.5 billion, but he must also be paid more than Rs 74 crore. Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi owns more than Rs 220 million. Provincial Minister Raja Basharat owns more than Rs 29.3 million. While Provincial Minister Raja Rashid Hafeez holds more than Rs 110 million.
Ijaz Khan Jazi of PTI has assets of only 274,000, he has no car or jewelry and has no business at home or abroad.
Provincial Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan owns a 9-marla hereditary house in Rawalpindi valued at about Rs 60 lakh. He has a plot of four marlas in Rawalpindi, and pieces of furniture price are 2 lac while he has Rs. 1,338,805 in his account. A non-refundable amount of Rs. 64 lakh 56 thousand 718 has been transferred by them.
Hamza Shahbaz’s assets worth is more than Rs 41 crore, Ahmad Khan Rs 50 crore, Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman Rs 130 crore, and Rana Mashhood more than Rs 50 crore.
The poorest member of the Punjab Assembly is Sajida Yousaf, who has only Rs 217 in her bank account. They do not have any vehicle or jewelry while they do not have any property at home and abroad.
PML-N’s Salman Rafique owns Rs 80 million in assets. While, Mian Mahmood Al-Rasheed Rs 190 million, and Yousuf Raza Gilani’s son Ali Haider Gilani more than Rs 10 million.
