Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan has delisted 5 cases against Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan.
In the announcement issued by the Election Commission, it has been said that 5 cases against Imran Khan have been delisted for December 13.
According to the Election Commission, the PTI foreign funding case, the case of stopping the notification of Imran Khan’s victory, 2 cases related to the removal of Imran Khan from the party chairmanship, and the case related to Imran Khan’s non-deposit of election expenses were also delisted.
The statement said that the cases were delisted due to the non-availability of the bench, the hearing of the delisted cases on December 13 will now be held on December 20.
The Election Commission was also supposed to hear the request not to issue the notification of Imran Khan’s victory in the by-elections.
According to the announcement, the Election Commission will hear the contempt of court cases against Imran Khan, Asad Umar, and Fawad Chaudhry tomorrow.
