The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam said Pakistan would launch its most-awaited electric cars by 2021 under the Electric Vehicle (EV) policy. He said it would boost the economy, cut the level of pollution, and create employment opportunities in the country in the context of a private news channel.
The Special Assistant said Electric cars to be started by the end of 2021 in Pakistan Pakistan has already introduced electric engines and rickshaws as an attempt to cut carbon emissions in line with its Green Pakistan campaign.
Amin considered the future of the country’s transport system as the electric motorcycles, rickshaws, and cars.
