Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 11 runs in the first T20 match to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Zimbabwe captain Sean Williams won the toss and elected to field first in the Harare Sports Club match.

The decision to invite the Pakistan team to bat proved to be the best for Sean Williams and he limited the visiting team to only 149 runs.

Once again, wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan proved to be a man of crisis for the national team and played the most unbeaten innings of 82 runs in the entire innings.

Apart from Danish Aziz’s 15 and Fakhr Zaman’s 13, no player could enter the double-figure.

Pakistan scored only 149 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

In pursuit of the target, the Zimbabwean team also showed excellent batting, but due to the spirit and experience of the recent victory of the Pakistan team, they lost by 11 runs.
