Several important personalities, including former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, were arrested for violating Corona SOPs. Indian police raided a club near Mumbai airport and arrested 34 people for violating Covid SOPs, including seven members of the club management.

According to Indian media reports, the arrested persons include 34-year-old former Indian cricketer, Suresh Raina, while Suzanne Khan, the ex-wife of Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, as well as renowned singer Guru Randhawa, were also detained.

According to the Mumbai Police, due to Covid-19, special times were fixed for the hotel and the club, but the club was still open at 3 pm, which led to action being taken against it for violating the Covid SOPS. An FIR was also registered against 34 persons including Guru Randhawa, Suzanne Khan, and Suresh Raina.

All those arrested were later released on bail. On the other hand, a spokesperson for Indian cricketer Suresh Raina said that Suresh Raina was in Mumbai for a shoot and had gone to the club at the invitation of a friend for dinner. He was informed about the hotel hours by the local police. Otherwise, they would not have violated it.
