Leader of Muslim League (Q) and Chief Minister of Punjab Pervez Elahi’s son Moonis Elahi has made this surprising revelation that he was told by former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa that he should support Tehreek-e-Insaf in the motion of no-confidence.
While giving an interview to Maher Abbasi on Thursday evening, Munis Elahi claimed that General Bajwa, whom PTI has been calling a ‘traitor’, ‘Mir Jafar’, ‘animal’ and other things for many months, and actually its true Punjab government was indebted by Imran Khan.
Answering a question from Maher Abbasi, Moonis Elahi said that I wanted to go with Tehreek-e-Insaaf from the first day. We had received offers of the Chief Ministership from both sides. There was an offer from PDM and also from PTI.
“I asked General Bajwa what you think. He said I want you to go with Imran Khan. That’s when I told Dad and Shujaat Sahib Bajwa’s shaib also want to go with PTI.
