Another incident of gang rape of a girl has come to light in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, the country’s second-largest city.
In Lahore’s Gulberg area, three accused have gang-raped a girl by giving her a job.
Gulberg police have registered a case of gang rape against the accused.
According to the FIR lodged by the victim, the accused Ramzan, Waleed, and Arsalan took her to a hotel where she was raped.
Seven days have passed since the incident but police have not been able to arrest the culprits so far.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar sought a report from the CCPO on the alleged rape of a girl in Gulberg.
He ordered action against the accused under the law and said that the fugitive accused should be brought to book as soon as possible and justice should be provided to the victim.
