According to the decision of PIA, the minimum fare from Islamabad to Skardu and from Islamabad to Gilgit has been fixed at Rs 6,915. The PIA spokesperson said that the special fare is expected to bring happiness to the guests from the northern regions, people from all over the country will also be able to see the world’s highest peaks in cold tourism and clear weather. The PIA spokesperson said that the CEO of PIA has issued special instructions to Air Marshal Arshad Malik to provide the best services to the passengers on the flights.
It should be noted that before this, PIA has reduced the fares of various routes in the country. PIA is currently charging a one-way fare of less than Rs 10,000 for air travel on several domestic routes. Following these steps of PIA, other airlines operating in the country have also significantly reduced fares.
