Haider Ali fined for insulting the umpire in the National T20

Haider Ali was fined for violating the code of conduct in the National T20 Cup. According to the private news channel, players in the seventh match of the first phase of the ongoing National T20 Cup in Multan and the Northern batsman Haider Ali has been fined 30 percent of the match fee for violating Level 1 of the Code of Conduct for Support Staff.

Haider Ali has been fined for expressing displeasure over the umpire’s decision during the match against Central Punjab. The incident took place during the ninth over of the first innings of the match when Haider Ali hit an LBW off Usman Qadir’s ball. On-field umpires Aftab Gilani and Faisal Khan, third umpire Waleed Yaqub and fourth umpire Nasir Hussain charged Haider Ali with violating Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct. Match referee Iftikhar Ahmed fined Haider Ali for confessing to the crime.
