Haris Rauf has been awarded the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November 2024 after playing a pivotal role in Pakistan’s historic series win in Australia. The 31-year-old pacer took 10 wickets in three ODIs during the tour, leading his team to their first ODI series victory in Australia in 22 years.

Rauf ended November with an impressive total of 18 wickets, beating India’s Jasprit Bumrah and South Africa’s Marco Jansen to claim the award.

His standout performance came in the second ODI against Australia when Pakistan was trailing 1-0 in the series. Rauf delivered a brilliant 5/29 spell in Adelaide, helping dismiss Australia for just 163 runs and setting up a crucial nine-wicket win for Pakistan. He was later named Player of the Series as Pakistan secured the 2-1 series victory, taking two more wickets in the third ODI.

Rauf continued his strong form in the subsequent T20I series, picking up five wickets, including a four-wicket haul in Sydney. He also claimed three wickets in Pakistan’s victorious ODI series against Zimbabwe, which they won 2-1.
