Under the C / Reference 42 by HEC and Government of Pakistan, on the governance of Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood, Higher Education Commission Pakistan held a two-day meeting with all Vice Chancellors of reputed universities.
Decisions have been made that all universities will adopt the ONLINE examination system for the final term exams. All those universities that have started on-campus exams are directed to conduct online exams according to their assets and needs. All HEC accredited institutes are advised to follow proper SOPs as staff and teachers to make their attendance feel. All concerned teachers must be present in university while examination. Microsoft Teams / Google Meet Zoom Skype can be used for online assessment. Good and up to mark paper must be set. No easy marking. Students are advised to switch on their cameras while on examination.
HEC plan next semester on campus. These are special conditions so amendments are made. Chairman HEC Dr. Tariq Banuri said that, No relaxation in the future is entertained.
