The Airport Security Force (ASF) successfully prevented an attempt to smuggle heroin on a flight bound for Jeddah.
During a routine luggage check, ASF personnel uncovered over 1 kilogram of heroin concealed in the passenger’s belongings. The seized narcotics are estimated to have a street value exceeding Rs. 12 million.
The suspect was promptly apprehended, and investigations are underway to uncover potential links to larger drug trafficking networks.
