ANKARA: A bus carrying illegal immigrants from Pakistan and other countries crashed in Turkey, killing 12 people and injuring 26 others.
According to a foreign news agency, a bus carrying illegal immigrants crashed near the Iranian border in Turkey, killing 12 people and injuring 26 others. The injured were taken to a hospital during the rescue operation.
According to Turkish officials, the bus fell into a ditch and caught fire. The bus driver has been arrested and an investigation is underway. However, according to preliminary investigations, the bus was carrying illegal immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
