Jeff Bezos is headed to space for few minutes
Jeff Bezos has already selected a hobby for his post-CEO life: space travel.
Bezos will travel on board a rocket built by his space exploration business, Blue Origin, just two weeks after stepping down as CEO of Amazon.
“The Earth transforms you when you see it from space. It alters your relationship with humans and the Earth. There is only one planet “On Monday morning, Bezos remarked in a video on Instagram.
“I’ve dreamed of traveling to space since I was five years old.”

Blue Origin’s rocket is named New Shepard, and it’s reusable, with the goal of lowering the cost of space travel and making it more accessible. Six passengers can travel in the pressurized capsule. There are no pilots available.
The crew will be on the New Shepard for the first time, in a capsule tethered to the rocket.
And it won’t just be Bezos who’ll be there: his brother Mark has also been invited.
