The world’s leading online company Amazon has announced that Jeff Bezos, the company’s chief executive officer (CEO), will step down by the end of this year.

According to foreign media reports, after retiring, Jeff Bezos will become the executive chairman of Amazon and replaced by Andy Jessie, the chief executive of Amazon’s web services.

Jeff Bezos had been the CEO of the company since its inception 27 years ago.

It is said that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos now wants to focus more on some important projects related to the company’s media and space programs, so he has decided to resign from this position.

In a letter to his employees, Jeff Bezos said that he would now be involved in other important matters, but that the decision was not about retirement.

Jeff Bezos has a combined net worth of about ً 200 billion and is currently the second richest person globally.

Bezos founded Amazon 27 years ago as an online bookstore, and today anything can be obtained from Amazon’s platform.
