A woman hailing to Karachi was sexually assaulted multiple times after she reached Lahore on false promises of job and marriage, The Express Tribune reports.
The victim in First Information Report (FIR) registered in North Cantt police station on Monday stated that “she was befriended with a guy identified as Harris through video game platform, PUBG.
The Victim added that the accused lured her to visit Lahore on the promise of marriage; she arrived at Punjab’s capital last week and spent three days with the accused person.
The victim claimed that she was raped multiple times and accused leaves me while insisting on marriage.
The accuser said that while waiting at the Lahore railway station, she was approached by two suspects, Hassan and Waheed, who offered her a job.
She told the police that they brought her to a hotel in Ichra and sexually abused her.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar while taking notice of the incident directed the Lahore CCPO to submit a report.
Lahore CCPO Fayyaz Dev said an investigation team headed by the SP cantonment was formed to arrest the suspects.
