Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif’s daughter and PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz arrived in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir, to attend a meeting of the opposition Ittihad Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
Noon League Vice President Maryam Nawaz was given a warm welcome on her arrival in Muzaffarabad.
Earlier, PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb had said that when Maryam Nawaz left for Muzaffarabad, she was greeted with flowers at various places in Murree.
It is to be noted that the Opposition Ittihad Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is organizing a Solidarity Kashmir meeting in Muzaffarabad today.
The meeting will be addressed by PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PDM, and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider and other leaders will also address the gathering.
Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are also expected to attend the Kashmir Solidarity Day celebrations at Kohala Bridge.
