The month of Ramadan has started in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Tomorrow will be the first fast in Saudi Arabia.
According to Arab media, the moon of Ramadan was seen in the Houthi Sadir area of Saudi Arabia while evidence of sighting of the moon was also found in Tamir.
Today Taraweeh prayers will be offered in Haram Sharif and Masjid Nabavi without any social distance, Taraweeh prayers will be offered in all regional mosques of Saudi Arabia with full capacity.
According to the UAE’s state-run news agency WAM, the Ramadan moon sighting committee met at the Ministry of Justice building in Abu Dhabi after evening prayers and confirmed the sighting of the Ramadan moon.
Saturday, April 2 will be the first day of Ramadan in the UAE. Tonight Taraweeh prayers will be offered in mosques.
