NAB Lahore has been declared a red zone on the summons of PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz on March 26. The federal interior ministry has also decided to hand over the NAB office to the security rangers.
According to sources, the Punjab government has accepted NAB Lahore’s request for Maryam Nawaz’s appearance on March 26. The Sub-Cabinet Committee on Law and Order has declared the NAB office a red zone.
At NAB’s request, the Federal Ministry of Home Affairs has also approved to hand over the NAB office premises to Rangers on March 25 and 26.
Police will be deployed in and around the NAB office, provincial law minister Raja Basharat said, adding that strict action would be taken against those who disrupted law and order.
He said that violation of Corrona SOPs would not be allowed.
