NIP, Quaid-i-Azam University inaugurated a series of workshops for students (from public universities of Islamabad), parents, and teachers to develop their soft skills for countering violence in universities. Workshops are part of the project titled “Evidence-Based Interventions for Student Violence in Public Sector Universities in Islamabad” funded by USEFP to Prof Dr. Rubina Hanif under Alumni Small Grant Programs. Workshops are based on ten modules including self-regulation, conflict management, social intelligence, inclusion and diversity, goal setting, providing a safe environment, learning ethics and morality, and positive youth development. Workshops will be delivered by Prof Dr. Rubina Hanif, Dr. Nelofar Kiran Rauf, Ms. Raiha Aftab, Mr. Haider Ali Shishmahal, Dr. Saira Khan, and Ms. Arooj Mujeeb. The take-home message of these workshops is to equip students, parents, and teachers with proper strategies and thrive in a violence-free academic environment.
