In the recent meeting of National Security Council (NSC), Pakistan Army has suggested government not to use power against the Tehreek e Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) protesters.
According to the sources privy to the development, in the meeting of NSC the army was of the view that the issues with TLP must be resolved through table talks.
It must be noted that there is a violent rift between the government and the TLP protesters in several cities of Pakistan which resulted in the death of many policemen in Punjab.
On the other hand, several federal ministers in their statements have said that government will use power against TLP if they didn’t fulfill their commitment of removing the blockades.
