According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Pakistan has become a member of the Commission for Prevention of Crime and Women. Pakistan has also become a member of the Population and Development Commission.
A Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan would take over the membership of the three commissions from January 1, 2022.
Commissions play the role of international co-operation on economic and social issues.
