Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) started quarreling over positions.

Opposition parties in the anti-government opposition coalition (Pakistan Democratic Movement) are beginning to have their differences, where one party wants a central role in the coalition. In contrast, others want the impression that the coalition belongs to one.

When the PDM leaders held a press conference after yesterday’s meeting, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi of the PML-N and Mian Iftikhar of the ANP seemed to be standing together, but their contradictory statements raised many questions.
Given Former Prime Minister and PPP central leader Raja Pervez Ashraf has been appointed senior vice president. In contrast, former PM and PML-N central leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been appointed as per the decision taken in the steering committee of PDM. The responsibilities of the Secretary-General of the PDM have been assigned.

During the press conference, when media representatives asked whether the posts in the PDM would be permanent, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi denied that the posts in the PDM would be permanent, while Mian Iftikhar said no. These positions will be found on a rotation basis.

The meeting also discussed the rotation of PDM posts. Some parties strongly opposed the rotation basis. According to sources, members of some parties took the position that rotation could end the alliance.
Expressing anger over the October 18 meeting, the PPP leaders said that the PDM’s steering committee made the final decision on the meetings, then who decided on October 18? PPP members took the position that alliances do not work like this, and everyone has to be led in confidence.

After which it has been decided that the first meeting under PDM will be held on October 16 in Gujranwala. Senior journalist Arshad Sharif said that the purpose of holding the first meeting in Gujranwala was to find out that the PML-N was playing a central role in this alliance.

Earlier, it was reported that the first meeting of the PDM would be held on October 18, which the PPP had objected to. It is impossible to hold a rally in Quetta on a date after which the PDM decided to hold a rally in Gujranwala on October 16.
