Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister of Information, has stated that Afghan refugees must return to Afghanistan within three months. He stated in an interview that Pakistan is presently home to around 300,000 Afghan refugees who may be identified and located.
Previously, the Pakistani government had resolved to deport Afghan refugees back to Afghanistan if they were proven to be engaging in anti-Pakistan activities.
