Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong said that Pakistan is the first country to be provided corona vaccine by China. The supply of vaccine is an example of everlasting friendship between Pakistan and China.
The first consignment of Corona vaccine sent to Pakistan by China was handed over at Noor Khan Air Base in the presence of special guest Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong.
Addressing a function at Noor Khan Air Base in Islamabad, Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong said that Pakistan is the first country to be supplied Corona vaccine by China. Which is an example of everlasting friendship between Pakistan and China.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that China once again demonstrated its everlasting friendship with Pakistan, seven decades of diplomatic relations with China are coming to an end. We will make new chapters of relations and friendship with China.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that on behalf of the Government of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, and the people, I would like to thank the Chinese Government and the Chinese President. China is the first to provide Corona Vaccine to Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister said that talks were underway with his Chinese counterpart to make the vaccine available, adding that China had provided 500,000 Corona vaccines as a gift.
Shah Mehmood said that we have announced to deal with Code 19, Prime Minister Imran Khan has formulated a strategy. NCOC is working, China has been standing with us during the Corona era, I am grateful to the Chinese government and people.
