Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan want peace and stability in the region.
In a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart in Islamabad, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he was grateful to Turkey and Azerbaijan for supporting Pakistan on Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan has close fraternal relations with both the countries and we want peace and stability in the region.
The Foreign Minister further said that today we discussed cooperation in trade, investment, and other fields.
“We also discussed atrocities against Muslim minorities and Islamophobia,” he said.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the three countries discussed the promotion of education and culture, rail, road, and air link.
The Foreign Minister also thanked Turkey and Azerbaijan for their support to the Kashmiri people.
