The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has clarified its social media policy by taking notice of the release of a video statement on YouTube by Head of International Player Development Saqlain Mushtaq.

According to the PCB, not all contract coaches, high performance centers and new coaches can run their own YouTube channels, and prior permission from the board is required for any media interview.

According to details, Head of International Player Development Saqlain Mushtaq had issued a statement on his YouTube channel four days ago, on which the board took notice and banned all coaches and team management officials from running YouTube channels. It also stipulates that prior permission from the board is required for conducting such interviews.

The Board has once again apprised the coaches of the National High Performance Center, all the Provincial Cricket Associations regarding this policy and also warned them that the Board will take legal action against the violators of this policy.
