The federal government has further increased the price of petrol by Rs 8.3 per liter.
The government’s move has raised fears that inflation in the country could enter fourth to fifth gear.
According to reports, the new price of petrol has gone up to Rs 145.82 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 8.14 per liter.
The price of kerosene has been increased by Rs6.27 to Rs116.53.
It may be recalled that earlier on October 16, 2021, the government had increased the price of diesel by Rs 12.44 per liter, petrol by Rs 10.49 per liter, and kerosene by Rs 10.95 per liter.
