The Government of Pakistan has started providing housing to the poor and working-class under the New Pakistan Housing Program.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that New Pakistan is the name of new thinking, the country has never thought of providing houses to the poor, the plan to provide houses to the poor and working-class is a great success.
Addressing a function to allot houses and flats to the working class under the New Pakistan Housing Program, Imran Khan said that the vision was that we would uplift the weaker sections. It was impossible for the salaried and working-class to buy houses in cities.
Imran Khan said that the construction sector is playing an important role in the economy of the country, the development of the construction sector increases employment opportunities, our construction industry is growing rapidly, private banks should provide loans for more than Rs 380 billion housing.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government has made it easy for the common man to take loans, the government will ensure that the interest on the loan taken to build a house does not go above five percent, the loan installments can be given for twenty years.

Imran Khan said that we are not doing favors to anyone, this is the right of the workers, the working class was never thought of in the country, the workers lived in a rented house, now the rent will go in installments and the house is their property.
PM Imran Khan said that even Class 6 employees of the government could not build houses in cities, it would be easy to build a house in a village, but it is impossible to build a house for a laborer in a city. The government is giving a subsidy of Rs 300,000 for a new housing project.
He said the delay in building the house was due to the fact that the law was cleared by the court in two years and the government would ensure that no more than 5 percent interest had to be paid.
Imran Khan said that a new housing project has started, I am happy that for the first time they are giving houses to the working class, even the richest countries cannot share houses.
