Pakistan People Party (PPP) on Thursday demanded the new transparent and fair elections in the country while saying that Prime Minister Imran Khan should resign, reported to The News.
“In Balochistan, a dangerous game is being played since the missing of Balochistan Assembly MPAs is a sensitive issue. The disappearance of MPs must come to an end immediately, and those responsible must be brought to justice,” said PPP finance sectary Senator Saleem Mandviwalla along with Senator Taj Haider here at National Press Club.
Saleem Mandviwalla further said that “that was the duty of Balochistan government to find out where these MPAs are; a member who wants to cast vote they should be given the right of the vote”. The MPAs who came back yesterday ask them where should they be located added that.
If the MPAs do not want to come themselves, the PPP leader believes they should be informed. He said that Asif Zardari, the former president of Pakistan, had no influence on the present situation in Balochistan. He said that Minister of State for Information Farrukh Habib appears on television every day announcing account access, but that no one is allowed to inspect the PTI accounts.
Salim Mandviwalla stated that the NAB chairman has not yet been informed and that if an ordinance is required, it should be introduced as soon as possible because the NAB offices are entirely closed. “The confirmation of Syed Khursheed Shah’s bail is another failure of the NAB, which exists solely to degrade the people,” he added.
In response to a question on the governor of the State Bank of Pakistan’s statements on the devaluation of the currency, Mandviwalla said the statement is shocking to everyone since it is the first time it has been heard that devaluation is a positive thing.
