Pakistan Super League (PSL) qualifier was tied, Karachi Kings defeated Multan Sultans in the Super Over and qualified for the final.

In the PSL qualifier played at the National Stadium Karachi. Multan Sultans gave the Karachi Kings a target of 142 runs to win.

Karachi Kings captain Emad Waseem equalized the score by hitting a four on the innings’ last ball, and the match was decided in a super over.

Earlier, Karachi Kings won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat where their bowlers did not allow the rival team to play openly.

Ravi Bopara of Multan Sultans stood out with 40 runs. while Zeeshan Ashraf and Khushdal Shah scored 21 and 17, respectively. Shahid Afridi scored 12, and Adam Light 9 runs.

Sohail Tanveer scored an aggressive 25 in the innings’ closing moments to take the team to 141.

Waqas Maqsood and Arshad Iqbal of Karachi Kings took 2 wickets each while Emad Wasim took one wicket.

In pursuit of the target, thanks to Babar Azam’s brilliant innings, the match was in the Karachi Kings’ grip at one point. But the Multan Sultans could not get a new talent ahead of the experienced players.

After Babar Azam was dismissed for 65 runs, no player of Karachi Kings could play well.

However, Kings captain Emad Wasim scored 27 off 16 balls in the closing moments to level the score.

Babar Azam of Karachi Kings was awarded Man of the Match for his excellent batting performance.
