Punjab CM Usman Bazdar directed to take effective measures to prevent urban flooding in the province including Lahore.

The Punjab Chief Minister directed that storm drains, drains and water channels should be monitored 24 hours a day.
Instructing the concerned authorities to remain on high alert, Usman Bazdar said that provision of necessary equipment, machinery and other resources should be ensured.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that he would take strict action if there was standing water in the roads and markets.
