A rare giraffe worth Rs 10 million has died at the Peshawar Zoo. According to Ishtiaq Khan, acting director of the zoo, the giraffe died of a viral infection.
Ishtiaq Khan further said that the giraffe was in a bad condition for several days. He was treated properly but he could not recover. However, he is taking care of the other two giraffes.
It should be noted that these three giraffes were brought to Pakistan from Africa in 2018. The dead giraffe was worth Rupees 1 crore.
