Upon confirmation, the resignation will be accepted within 30 minutes. The resignations of the two members will be started from them. In this regard, the Speaker Secretariat also wrote a letter to the members to confirm the resignations. The Prime Minister has also issued clear guidelines to party spokespersons.

President PDM Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that if the government does not resign, then a long march towards Islamabad should be announced on February 3. PDM members of National and Provincial Assemblies will submit their resignations to party leaders by December 31.

In a joint media briefing after the PDM meeting with Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto, and other leaders, the PDM president said that the first thing is that by December 31, the PDM members of the National and Provincial Assemblies have tendered their resignations to their respective party leaders. We want to make it clear to the government that the government should resign by January 31. If it does not resign, then the summit will announce a long march towards Islamabad on February 1.

He said that the PDM parties were being appealed to start preparations for the long march. The meeting was held at Minar-e-Pakistan where the political objectives were announced. For the continuation of these objectives, the PDM leaders issued a unanimous statement The schedule given by the PDM’s steering committee to the provinces for preparations for the long march will also be maintained.
