Riz Ahmed Is The First Muslim Actor Nominated For Oscar Award

According to the latest news, Riz Ahmed, a British-Pakistani director, will be the first Muslim actor to win the Oscar for Best Actor this year.

Ahmed is the first actor of Pakistani descent to be nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Actor category for his outstanding performance in South of Metal.

Six other factors led to the film’s nomination for this award, including best picture, best director, best-supporting actor for Paul Raci, Best Original Script, Best Editing, and Best Sound.
