Saudi Investment Delegation, Led by Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Meets COAS General Asim Munir to Enhance Cooperation

A high-level Saudi Arabian investment delegation, headed by Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, held a key meeting with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir in Rawalpindi. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in various sectors of mutual interest.

General Asim Munir expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support from Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He emphasized that the visit of the Saudi business delegation underscores the deep and brotherly ties between the two nations. He further expressed optimism that the visit would bring mutual benefits to both countries, assuring the delegation of full support from Pakistan.

Earlier, the Saudi delegation also met with President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad. President Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong respect for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to standing in solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He also praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visionary leadership and lauded Saudi Arabia’s impressive progress under Vision 2030, expressing gratitude for the Kingdom’s continued support to Pakistan during challenging times.

Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih recognized Pakistan’s strategic geographical importance and its potential in natural resources and renewable energy, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to furthering cooperation with Pakistan.
