Security forces conducted an undercover operation in North Waziristan. In this regard, the Director-General of Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army Major General Babar Iftikhar said that the security forces conducted an operation on a tip-off in the Nargosa area of North Waziristan. Two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces.
The dead included Usman Ali and Waheed Lashti. DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said that a terrorist was also injured in the firing and was arrested. According to the DG ISPR, the terrorists killed during the security forces operation were active members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Sajna group. The two terrorists killed were also experts in making IEDs. The terrorists were experts in landmines and also in training terrorists.
The terrorist Usman was also involved in the martyrdom of Captain Omar Cheema and other security personnel.
