The polling booths for the 37 seats in the upper house of the Senate have been set up and voting in the National and Provincial Assemblies will continue till 5 pm without any break.

Voting is taking place in 2 seats of Islamabad, 12 seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11 seats of Sindh, and 12 seats of Balochistan while candidates for all 11 seats of Punjab have been elected unopposed.

The first vote in the National Assembly was cast by Mian Shafiq Arain of the ruling party PTI while the second vote was cast by Federal Minister Faisal vada. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also present at the polling station to cast his vote.

The Election Commission has issued guidelines for the members of the National Assembly. Two ballot boxes have been placed in the Parliament House. No one is allowed to carry a mobile phone or a camera in the polling station.
