The University of Lahore (UOL) has expelled a young boy and girl after a video of them proposing and embracing in front of other students went viral.
A video recently went viral on social media in which a female student kneeled down and offered flowers to a boy in the presence of other students, expressing her affection for the student, and then the two embraced.
After the video went viral on social media, the University of Lahore released a notice saying that the students had been expelled from the university and that their admission to the university had been suspended.
Gill tweeted “Young children are unaware of the many worries of life,”. In light of our culture and beliefs, they should have stopped hugging.”
“However, expulsion from the university is not the answer,” he added.

Furthermore, students who were expelled under section 16 of the campus’s General Discipline Rules and Code of Conduct would be barred from enrolling in the next university or any of its campuses, according to the notification.
