Shaheen Afridi has returned from injury to top Pakistan’s wicket-taking charts in the T20 World Cup, picking up 11 scalps at an average of 14.09 and an economy rate of 6.15.
His best performance came in the must-win against Bangladesh on the final day of the Super 12 stage.
The left arm took 4/22 in a fast-paced four-over spell that earned him the Player of the Match award.
Shaheen was brilliant in the semi-final against New Zealand too, conceding just 24 runs in four overs and picking up the key wickets of Finn Allen and Kane Williamson.
