PML-N’s Hanif Abbasi fined Rs 5 million on corruption charges in Shaukat Khanum. PML-N’s troubles have increased, Additional District and Sessions Judge Sahibzada Naqib Shehzad of Rawalpindi court imposed a fine of Rs 5 million on PML-N’s Hanif Abbasi for making allegations of corruption in Shaukat Khanum. Hanif Abbasi did not come to court to hear today.
The court rejected the allegations of serious corruption in PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi’s Shaukat Khanum which he could not prove while accepting the defamation suit of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital to pay Rs 5 million compensation to Hanif Abbasi.
On the allegations of Hanif Abbasi, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital had filed a case against him for Rs. 10 billion in damages and had taken a stand in the case that Hanif Abbasi had tried to tarnish the reputation of the hospital. It should be noted that Khawaja Asif has also leveled allegations of corruption against Shaukat Khanum. There is a case of billions of rupees in damages against him in the court which has been hearing for the last 9 years, but no decision has been reached.
