The Sindh Cabinet on Monday approved the provision of 100,000 tents for the Türkiye earthquake victims.
Early Monday, a powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake shook central Turkey and northwestern Syria, killing nearly 300 people and injuring hundreds. Buildings collapsed throughout the area, prompting a search for survivors in the rubble.
The donation of tents for the earthquake victims in Turkey was agreed upon during a province cabinet meeting presided over by chief minister Murad Ali Shah.
According to CM Shah, “the people of Turkiye had offered kind helping hands for the Sindh flood victims.”
In these trying circumstances, we could not abandon our brothers in Turkiye, he continued.
