Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accepted the resignation of Finance Minister Berat Al-Bayrak. He resigned via Instagram post, citing ill health.

Members of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) were shocked. Due to the unconventional resignation of Berat al-Biraq as a finance minister.

Turkish observers and some AQ officials say President Tayyip Erdogan brought Beirat al-Bayrak forward as his possible successor and party leader. Still, he abruptly resigned and put all his intentions and plans behind him.

According to Turkish media reports, everyone is shocked and angry at the resignation of Berat Al-Bayrak. In his post, he drew the people’s attention and wrote that he was resigning from the ministry due to health reasons.

“After five years in the ministry, I have decided not to continue my duties due to health problems,” Berat al-Biraq wrote.

He also said that he would spend more time with his family, which he had ignored.

Remember that Berat Al-Bayrak is the husband of Isra. The eldest daughter of the Turkish President. He has been Turkey’s finance minister since 2018. Before that, he was the Minister of Energy from 2015 to 2018.
