US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says the United States and India have never been so close, from trade to defense. Strengthening relations between the two countries have come with Indian Foreign Minister SJ Shankar.
In a statement on social media, Mike Pompeo thanked his Indian counterpart SJ Shankar and wrote that relations between the two countries had become stronger with the best diplomat and my friend J Shankar.

He said that US cooperation with India in trade, defense, and other fields had never been so close.
Mike Pompeo also shared a link to his 2009 speech in New Delhi with his tweet. In which Pompeo called for cooperation between the two countries that would benefit not only the United States, India but the region and the world.
