Following the defeat of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman in the Senate elections, three decision-makers of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of Pakistan’s opposition parties, joined hands.
Sources said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Nawaz Sharif, and Asif Ali Zardari have had a telephone conversation.
Sources said that preparations for the long march and the future of PDM were discussed in the telephone call.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that now the long march will not be beneficial without resignations.
The three leaders agreed to check opposition members close to Sadiq Sanjarani.
The issue of Senate elections will also be considered in the PDM summit.
