Security has been increased in Islamabad following the attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan.
Authorities have tightened measures around sensitive areas, including the Islamabad Police Lines. Roads near the Police Lines and IG office have been blocked, with additional police commandos deployed.

Concrete barriers and barbed wires have also been placed for added security. Officials say these measures are temporary but necessary due to the current threat.
Jaffar Express Attack:
Security forces killed 27 militants and rescued over 150 hostages after armed terrorists attacked the Jaffar Express in Bolan, Balochistan. The train, carrying over 400 passengers, was traveling from Quetta to Peshawar when it was stopped and stormed by militants.
The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack. The terrorists bombed the railway track before boarding the train. Security sources revealed that the attackers were in contact with their mastermind in Afghanistan.
A clearance operation was launched immediately, leading to the elimination of the militants. Authorities remain on high alert, closely monitoring the situation.
