City court grants bail to Capt (retd) Safdar Awan in Mazar-e-Quaid desecration case according to details, this morning in a case of the desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid, Sindh Police arrested the husband of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and former Member National Assembly Captain (retd), Muhammad Safdar. The case of the desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid against Capt (R) Safdar was heard in the city Court.
On this occasion, there was a brawl between PML-N and PTI workers. The court gave his decision on the bail application of Capt (retd) Safdar Awan.Court orders to release Capt (retd) Safdar on bail. Court orders him to submit bail bond of Rs one lakh. It should be noted that Captain Safdar, along with his wife, come to Karachi to attend a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
PTI leaders have registered a case against more than 200 PML-N workers, including Maryam Nawaz and her husband Captain Safdar, for desecrating Mazar-e-Quaid.
PTI leaders Khurram Sher Zaman, Haleem Adil Sheikh, Raja Azhar and others had reached the brigade police station to register a case against PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz and her husband Captain (retd) Safdar and others for violating the sanctity of Mazar-e-Quaid. At first, the police refused to register a case, but PTI leaders and workers protested outside the police station for more than ten hours, after which the case was registered.
