Grandmother drowned while rescuing her granddaughter in the swimming pool of a well-known guest house in Sakaka, Saudi Arabia. According to local media, Sarah Al-Alimi’s grand-daughter was swimming in the swimming pool with her friends.
The girl went down to the amateur pool with friends while she was not an expert in swimming. When Grandma saw her walking towards the deep part of the swimming pool and awkwardly kicking his hands and feet, she immediately jumped into the swimming pool. Abdullah, the son of that aged woman, said that his mother had no experience of swimming except in old age. She jumped into the swimming pool to save her granddaughter.
According to Gulf News, Sarah Al-Alimi saved her granddaughter from drowning, but she drowned after going into a deep part of the swimming pool. According to the family, she did not know how to swim, but she tried to save her granddaughter. She thought it appropriate to jump into the water without thinking. The deceased Sarah Al-Alimi has been teaching in Sakaka for more than 30 years and was living in retirement in those days.
