Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will pay his first official visit to the United Arab Emirates today.
According to Israeli reports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with UAE leader Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Abu Dhabi Airport. A senior official in Netanyahu’s office declined to comment on reports from Israeli public radio, the Haaretz newspaper, and other media outlets. Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the UAE and Bahrain was scheduled for February 1, but his visit was postponed due to travel restrictions imposed by Israel to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The UAE established relations with Israel in August last year.
